Description
The Application Development Team at HSPH has been tasked with integrating many different systems (WordPress, Emma, Salesforce, Wasabi, etc.) with various levels and types of central Harvard data – from student course information to staff details, and even photo IDs and training portal courses. To manage all of these integrations, we’ve come up with numerous strategies and tactics to make sure our end users get the data they need, where they need it, when they need it, securely. In this session, we’ll discuss our School’s various data use cases, and the successes and pitfalls we’ve had as we’ve worked to integrate our systems with the many sources of centralized Harvard data. We’ll also share what we’re planning for the future.
